I’m making my way through Devon, one pub at a time. Every pub listed on this site is one I’ve actually been to, had a pint, soaked up the atmosphere, and probably moaned about the weather. There’s no agenda here, just a proper love for good pubs and the odd grumble when they get it wrong. New pubs get added as I visit them, so check back now and then if that’s your thing.
I built this site because I love pubs, not to flog webpages. But every now and then, a landlord asks for help, so I’ll knock something together. Nothing fancy, just clean, clear, and gets the job done. If it brings in a few more punters, happy days. You’ll find a few of them here.
If you want your pub on the site, just shout. I might need an invite though!
I’m not a marketing agency. I’m just a bloke who loves pubs and knows how to build websites. If I’ve been to your place and it’s a decent spot, I’ll add it here, no forms, no faff.
You don’t need to apply or make a pitch. I’m not promising miracles or traffic stats. But if your pub’s the kind of place people should know about, I’ll happily put it on the map. If you want your pub here, just shout, although a visit is a must!

I run this site for free and keep it ticking over by sticking a few ads in here and there. That’s what pays for the hosting and the odd bacon sandwich while I’m out on the road.
If your pub’s on here, you won’t pay a penny. I’m not flogging anything, just giving decent locals a bit more online presence without all the usual strings.
Devon’s full of pubs; the good, the dodgy, and everything in between. Some are tucked in quiet villages, some hang off cliffs with sea views, and a few don’t even have a sign outside. But they’re all part of the fabric down here.
You’ll find local ale, decent grub if you’re lucky, and enough characters to fill a short novel. These places aren’t just for food and drink, they’re where stories get swapped, dogs get fussed, and locals put the world to rights over a pint.
These are also the pubs I’ve been to.
The oldest pub in Devon England is the Royal Oak Inn in Exeter. It was built in 1180, making it one of the oldest pubs in the UK. The pub is a popular tourist destination, and it’s said to be haunted by the ghost of a former landlord. The Royal Oak Inn is a Grade II listed building, and it’s been carefully restored to its former glory. The pub has a traditional English interior, with exposed beams and a wood-burning fireplace. It’s a great place to enjoy a pint of ale and some traditional pub food.
